The size of the floor is the biggest driver. Larger floors take more material and more time, so the total scales with the area.
Floor condition and repairs
Cracks, pitting, and spalling need to be repaired before coating. More repairs mean more prep work before the coating goes down.
Removing an old coating
If there's an old coating or sealer on the floor, it has to come off first. Grinding off an existing coating adds labor to the job.
Coating system and finish
Different systems and finishes carry different material costs. A full flake garage system and a simple grind and seal are not the same job.
Moisture
If the slab has moisture issues, they need to be addressed so the coating doesn't fail. That can add steps to the process.
